Neighbourhood planning can inspire local people and businesses to consider other ways to improve their neighbourhood than through the development and use of land. They may identify specific action or policies to deliver these improvements. Wider community aspirations can be included in a neighbourhood plan.
Household Survey

Thank you to everyone who completed the Household Survey. Everyone's contributions will now be collated and a report will be compiled by CCS which we will receive in a few months. If you missed out this time, don't worry, this won't be your only opportunity to have your say. We are currently running workshops with the young people of our Parish and will be working on Business and Housing Needs Surveys throughout this year. In addition, we will be at Village Day again, along with other summer fetes.

The parish boundaries

The parish boundaries are the smallest type of administrative areas in England. The parish council has responsibility for local issues, including setting an annual precept (local rate) to cover the council’s operating costs and producing annual accounts for public scrutiny. The parish council evaluates local planning applications and works with the local police, district council officers, and neighbourhood watch groups.
